FACTS: Change Agent Training Series

The purpose of this training is to inform, inspire, and shape views and attitudes as it relates to advancing racial justice, equity, and healing. Sessions are aimed at enhancing awareness of disparities within healthcare, housing, and criminal justice systems.

The goal is to:

  • Advance community health and healing by addressing and dispelling stereotypes

  • Build greater awareness of community health and healing through healthy dialogue

  • Develop an on-going training hub where facilitation of creative dialogue within community happens

  • Participants will better understand cultural sensitivity which will foster an appreciation for diversity and uniqueness.

  • Participants will gain comfort, cultivate communication skills and master engaging in meaningful dialogues about cultural influences and differences.

“Because systemic and structural racism permeate all sectors and areas, addressing them will require mutually reinforcing actions in multiple sectors and places; acknowledging their existence is a crucial first step.”
